Terms of Service & Security

Clear terms. Real security. No surprises.

Last updated 12 July 2026 · Please read the Telegram section before connecting an account.

🔐

The short version: Hamyon is a hosted service that reads your bank's Telegram notifications and turns them into a private financial ledger. We keep your data isolated to your account, we never sell it, and connecting Telegram is read-only — we never send or change anything in your account. Connecting Telegram does grant broad access to your account, so please read section 03 and connect only if you're comfortable.

01The service

Hamyon (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is a hosted application that turns Uzbek bank card notifications (HUMO, UZCARD, Asakabank) into a personal financial ledger with analytics and insights. You access it as a registered user; we operate and secure the servers and database on your behalf. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the Service.

02Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account.
  • Use a strong, unique password and don't share your login.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
  • One person per account; provide accurate information when you register.

03Connecting a Telegram account — read this

To read your bank bots automatically, Hamyon can connect to your personal Telegram account (via Telegram's official TDLib). This is convenient but sensitive, so here is exactly what is and isn't true:

  • Read-only. We only read messages. Hamyon never sends messages, posts, joins chats, or changes anything in your Telegram.
  • Only the bank bots are ingested. We read and store the text of the known bank bots' chats only — never your personal conversations — and never download media or files.
  • Your login code and 2-factor password are never stored. They're used once to sign in, held only in memory, never written to our database and never logged.
  • Your session is isolated to your account on our servers and used only to read your bank bots.
  • Disconnecting revokes it. “Disconnect” logs the session out on Telegram's side — not just on our end — and removes the stored session.
  • It is broad access. Telegram does not let an app limit a login to specific chats. Hamyon chooses to read only the bank bots, but the login it holds could technically reach your whole account. Connect only if you accept that.
  • No system is perfectly secure. We work hard to protect your session, but you connect your Telegram account at your own discretion and risk (see section 04).

You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which revokes the session. You can also remove it yourself in Telegram → Settings → Devices.

04Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

You use the Service, and connect your Telegram account, at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss, unauthorized access, account compromise, financial loss, or data breach arising from your use of the Service — including compromise of a connected Telegram account, whether caused by a vulnerability, third-party action, Telegram itself, your own device or credentials, or any other cause. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim. If your Telegram account is ever compromised, you are responsible for securing it (revoke the session in Telegram → Settings → Devices and change your credentials).

05Your data & privacy

  • Your transactions and Telegram session are isolated to your account — other users can't see them.
  • We don't sell your data and don't share your transactions with third parties.
  • Bank notifications already contain masked card numbers only; we store messages as received.
  • The optional AI features (only if you enable them) receive aggregated totals — never raw messages, card numbers, or your Telegram session.
  • Traffic to the Service is over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • You can export everything to CSV, and delete your data, at any time.

06Acceptable use

Use the Service only for your own lawful personal finances. Don't attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.

07No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Automated parsing and categorization can be wrong or incomplete; verify anything important against your bank's own records. Hamyon is not your bank.

08Not financial advice

The analytics, insights, and any AI-generated report are informational only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on them are your own.

09Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the Service from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with a new date, and continuing to use the Service means you accept them. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; we may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
